Hatun P’aqo Nan — The Grand Shaman’s Path
Structured training in Neo-Quechuan Shamanism leading to eligibility to work as a professional shaman. The pathway runs over three years, with the option to complete required electives in a fourth year if needed.
Year 1: Foundation in Shamanism 12 weeks
Introductory module providing essential foundations for shamanic practice.
- Status: Compulsory
- When offered: Term 1, Term 2, or Term 3
Year 2: Intermediate Shamanism 34 weeks
Development of core techniques and supervised practice.
- Status: Compulsory
- When offered: Terms 1–3 (cannot be started in Terms 2 or 3)
Year 3: Advanced Shamanism 34 weeks
Mastery stage preparing for professional work.
- Status: Compulsory
- When offered: Terms 1–3 (cannot be started in Terms 2 or 3)
Elective Modules
Electives support and extend professional practice. Availability may vary by year. Students must complete at least one Major Elective and one Minor Elective; additional electives are optional.
Major Electives 2 terms each
- Shamanic Breathwork Practitioner
- Sound Healing Practitioner
Minor Electives 1 term each
- Jung
- Psychic Healing
Starting Points and Combinations
Rules+
- Intermediate and Advanced Shamanism run through Terms 1–3 and cannot be started in Term 2 or Term 3.
- Foundation and Intermediate cannot be taken together in Term 2 or Term 3.
- Minor Electives may be taken alongside Intermediate or Advanced.
- If required, missing Major or Minor Electives may be completed in a fourth year.
If you start in Term 1+
- Take Foundation in Shamanism in Term 1.
- You may complete a Major Elective in Terms 2–3.
- Intermediate begins the following academic year (Term 1).
If you start in Term 2+
- Take Foundation in Shamanism in Term 2.
- You may take a Minor Elective in Term 3.
- You will still need a Major Elective later.
If you start in Term 3+
- Take Foundation in Shamanism in Term 3.
- Intermediate may begin in the next Term 1.
