1. Terms & Conditions of Booking Courses

  • All bookings must be secured with a registration fee.
  • A place on a course is not confirmed until the registration fee has been paid.
  • The registration fee is included in the total cost of the course advertised.

2. Statutory withdrawal right (EU consumer distance sales)

  • If you are a private individual and you book a course online (a distance contract), you generally have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days of the booking date (purchase date) by notifying Green Tara College in writing (for example, by email).
  • If you validly withdraw, we will refund payments received for that order and no administration fee will be charged.

3. Moodle access and digital course materials (important)

  • Our courses include access to online learning systems (including Moodle) and digital course materials.
  • Where we provide access to Moodle and/or digital materials during the 14-day withdrawal period, the statutory withdrawal right will no longer be available after we enable Moodle access.

4. Course Commencement

  • Once a course has started, the statutory withdrawal right is no longer be available and refunds will not be issued.
  • Payments for courses will not be refunded if you fail to attend the class/session.
  • Illness: If you are unable to attend due to illness, medical evidence will be required. Where accepted, we may (at our discretion) offer a transfer or a refund.

5. Commercial cancellation and transfer policy

This section applies only where the statutory withdrawal right has expired or has been validly lost under Section 2 or 3.

  • If you cancel more than 14 days after booking, the registration fee will not be refunded.
  • However, we may, at our discretion, transfer that registration to a different course within 2 years, allowing you to enrol in an alternative course without paying another registration fee. A €50 administration fee applies to transfers.  Please note this is not an automatic right and is not guaranteed. It depends on circumstances.
  • Deposits/registration fees for Reiki Training may be transferred to the next comparable Reiki course after the originally booked one, provided the transfer request is made 7 or more days prior to the commencement of the originally booked course. A €50 administration fee applies.
  • If Green Tara College cancels a course, we will offer either a full refund of amounts paid to Green Tara College; or a transfer to a future date (where available), at your choice.
  • Green Tara College is not responsible for accommodation or travel bookings you have made with third parties.

6. Statutory rights preserved

  • Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to non-supply or lack of conformity of digital content or digital services.
